Shabbat Dinner Burning Man Style

While you were enjoying some quality family time at your cozy Shabbat dinner earlier this month, Jeffrey and David Katzenberg also celebrated Shabbat together, along with 700 other people.
The Hollywood father-son duo, who attended the Burning Man festival in Nevada together, invited anyone who wanted to attend their massive gathering at their tent, which they called the Merkabah, a Kabbalistic term referring to a divine chariot seen by Ezekiel.
Dad Jeffrey, 65, is the former head of NBC Universal and is currently chairman of DreamWorks New Media, and son David, 33, is a producer and director.
As David told The Hollywood Reporter, "Anyone and everyone is welcome. We hosted nearly 700 people this year. Everyone in our camp equally contributes their time, energy and resources to making the Shabbat dinner work."
