Many Friday nights at Mishiguene, a trendy Jewish- Argentine fusion restaurant in Buenos Aires feature live klezmer music and gefilte fish prepared sous-vide. Chef Tomas Kalika has made it his mission to reinterpret the Ashkenazi cuisine he was raised eating at his restaurant, whose name means crazy in Yiddish. 

For two nights, September 22 and 23, Kalika will collaborate with Argentine winemaker Catena Winery for a pop-up at Nolita's Chefs Club. The eight course (non-kosher) menu will include foods from throughout the Jewish world such as Kalika's famous gefilte fish, fried kibbeh, Jerusalem mixed grill, borscht and kreplach, and "asado" pastrami, will be paired with Catena wines. The dinner, which will feature live klezmer music by clarinetist Michael Winograd, costs $110 for food, and an additional $95 for wine, is currently sold out, but a waiting list is available with the restaurant.
